Ennisfield is committed to helping conserve our natural resources, we feel that all organisations, have a responsibility to minimise the impact of their work on the wider environment.

We offer a wide range of environmentally friendly alternatives to the traditional materials and production methods. Since 1992 we have offered recycled papers & boards. We now provide materials that conform to the guidelines laid down by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and our recycled papers all conform to the National Association of Paper Merchants (NAPM) guidelines of containing no less than 50% recycled waste pulp.

Where a balance between environmental issues and Client Corporate guidelines has to reached, we can offer high quality materials that have a part recycled waste pulp element.

All materials we offer are environmentally friendly and as such are free of elemental Chlorine (ECF) and in many cases totally Chlorine free (TCF). Chlorine gas has traditionally been used in the process of bleaching pulp, to create a high white paper or board. Oxygen or Carbon dioxide are significantly less polluting and therefore good replacements for Chlorine

We are able to offer inks which are vegetable based, along with laminates which are alcohol free.

All production "overs" are either returned to our clients or recycled as part of our secure destruction policy or returned to Mill for de-inking and recycling. All waste produced by us in the normal course of our work, is sorted and all board and paper recycled.
